One region. One shelter at a time.
Dioubate Foundation is a West African family with roots in more than one country, and our promise is to the region as a whole. Mothers and children in Guinea, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Senegal, Sierra Leone and their neighbours face the same shortages of basic necessities.
We start in Conakry because we already have trusted relationships there — people who can confirm what a shelter truly needs and make sure every item reaches a family. Starting where we are known lets us prove the model before we carry it further.
Each phase that follows will take that same model to a different West African community. Guinea is our first step, not our only one.

Guinea-Conakry is only the beginning. As each phase is completed, we hope to carry the same care to mothers and children in communities across West Africa — each new stop chosen with local partners, and announced as our journey grows.

Every item you give is treated with care and respect. Here is exactly what happens to your donation, step by step.
We collect
Clothing and essentials are gathered from kind donors like you — dropped off at our location in Queens, picked up from your door in the five boroughs, or shipped to us for free from anywhere in the country.
We inspect
Every single item is carefully checked by hand. Only clean, quality pieces in good condition move forward — anything unsuitable is responsibly recycled, never passed on.
We wash
All clothing is taken to the laundry and thoroughly washed and sanitized, so every piece arrives fresh, clean, and ready to wear.
We fold & arrange
Items are folded, sorted by size and type, and arranged neatly — by child sizes, women's sizes, baby essentials, school supplies, and more.
We pack
Everything is packed with care and prepared for delivery to mothers, children, shelters, and orphanages — first to our project in Guinea, Conakry, and to partners across West Africa as we grow.

Drop off in Queens
We are located in Queens, New York. You are welcome to bring your donations to our designated drop-off location at one of our family businesses — just email us first to schedule a time.
Pickup in the five boroughs
Live in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, or Staten Island? We can come to you. Tell us what you have and we will schedule a pickup at a time that works for you.
Out of state? We pay the shipping
You shouldn't have to worry if you don't live nearby. Tell us the weight, length, width, and height of your box, and we will email you a prepaid shipping label — it costs you nothing to ship your donation to us.
